Day 1: Marrakech – Tinghir
Set for an incredible experience that will take your breath away! When the sun rises, we begin our exciting Marrakech desert tour, which will take us to the picturesque Merzouga desert. Our journey will take us into the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, where we will travel along winding roads and take in the breathtaking vistas of Atlas Berber villages and Kasbahs.
As we go deeper into the foothills, we’ll come across the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a world-renowned landmark with old charm and unsurpassed beauty.
Our next stop is the mesmerising town of Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” We’ll visit the famed Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios, where scenes of some famous blockbusters like Game of Thrones were filmed.
Yet the thrills don’t stop there! Our journey continues to the enthralling Roses and Dades Valleys, where we will see nature’s beauty at its finest. When the day draws to a close, we’ll head to the beautiful Tinghir, where we’ll enjoy a fantastic dinner and spend the night in total relaxation.
Day 2: Tinghir – Merzouga Desert
Today we begin our day with a great traditional breakfast to fuel our journey. Expect to be taken in by the captivating landscape as we travel via roads surrounded by old kasbahs and picturesque Berber villages in the Toudra Gorges. Our next stop is the breathtaking Tineghir Valley, a green sanctuary encircled by huge pink and grey granite cliffs reaching up to 300m in height.
Yet this is merely the beginning of our journey! The iconic Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, located in the center of the Sahara Desert, are our next stop. Before we go, we’ll stop in Tinjdad for a delicious lunch to fuel us for the journey ahead.
We’ll take a one-hour camel ride across the towering Erg Chebbi dunes to experience the sun’s beautiful descent in a spray of hues, all in exquisite style.
We’ll make our way to the lovely oasis as the sun sets and set up camp for the night. Imagine experiencing the charm of the desert, sleeping below the stars or in real nomadic tents, and feeling the ancient rhythms of the land while playing the drums with our talented camel men. This adventure’s passion and thrill will remain with you long after the trip is over.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert – Marrakech
Feel the warmth of the sun on your face and the calm air caressing your skin as you bask in the majesty of a spectacular sunrise among the shifting sand dunes. You’ll fuel up for the adventure ahead by enjoying a nice breakfast. Then it’s time to remount your magnificent camels and embark on an incredible adventure.
When you return, you’ll be overwhelmed with awe and excitement as you take in the breathtaking views that surrounds you. Your heart will overflow with delight with each passing minute as you take in the beauty of the world around you. You’ll stop along the road to have a tasty lunch and take in the rich culture that makes Morocco so unique.
And when you go across the spectacular High Atlas mountains, passing via the breathtaking Tizi N’tichka pass, you’ll feel like you’re on top of the world.
